Blues, Blue Ridge & BBQ

Overview

Ride into the music of the Deep South on this 15-day guided tour from the birthplace of jazz to the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. From sultry New Orleans through the home of the blues, Memphis, to the country music capital of Nashville, the towns on this tour can’t help but sing the history of America. Nightclubs, juke joints, speakeasys and honky-tonks abound, and the endless opportunities for BBQ and bourbon are enough to satisfy the healthiest of appetites.

Yet the music only tells half the story. From Nashville you’ll head to the Appalachian Mountains to ride the notorious Tail of the Dragon – 318 turns in only 11 miles – before embarking on a series of incredible riding days, exploring the backroads of the arresting Appalachians. The final crescendo is a soul-stirring ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway, following the dips and curves of the Blue Ridge Mountains all the way to D.C.
